WE ALL MAKE mistakes when tapping away at the keyboard but this English language blunder has to be one of the most amusing.

Galway Mayo Institute of Technology wants to establish a panel for the provision of English as a foreign language, and they’re advertising for applicants on eu-supply.com

DailyEdge reader Liam was on the site this morning when he came across the ad and couldn’t help but notice a little spelling mistake.

Thinking nothing of the little ‘langauge’ error, he decided to click on the hyperlink: Little did he know what was lurking behind it.

For those of you without ridiculously good vision, here’s the full extent of the damage:

Dear Applicant,Galway Mayo Institute of Technology wishes to establish a Panl for the Provision of English as a Foreign language.GMIT invites applications for inclusion on the Panel.  Interested parties are invited to consult the docuemtation associated with this notice, available on www.etenders.gov.ie.  As the subject matter of this panel is a non-priority (Annex IIB) service, the conduct of this competition is not fully subject to the provision of Directive 2004/18/EC (the Public Sector Procurment Directive) and is being advertised voluntarily in order to alert the international market.

The Panel will be advertised annually and access to the Panel can be requested at any time by completed this questionnaire. Applicants wishing to be considered for requirements arising in the near future must respond by 12 noon (local time) on the 21st February 2014.
